ACADEMIC INTERVENTION SERVICES

(AIS)

Services are state mandated and provided to students based on intervention and prevention. Reading and Math specialists give additional comprehension strategies to support students in their academic classes. The goal of AIS is to provide students with the tools necessary to succeed independently.

AIS READING TEACHERS: Focus is on reading comprehension, writing, fluency, and NYS ELA test preparation.
