  • Free/Reduced Lunch Applications Due

    Applications must be re-submitted every year to maintain Free/Reduced Lunch status. If you qualified last year, but have not filled out the form, your child will begin paying full price for lunches this week.

  • March 22, 2017

    • The Writer's Guild meets today after school in Room 246.  The Writer's Guild meets every Wednesday in Room 246.  Everyone is always welcome.  Check it out!
    • Attention Donate Life Members:  There will be a meeting Thursday, March 23, 2017, afterschool in Room 123.  See you there!
    • Attention Seniors:  DEADLINES for many scholarship applications are quickly approaching, within the next couple of weeks.  Remember to check the scholarship bulletin on the counseling center website or stop in the counseling center and pick up paper applications.  Don't miss out on money for college!
    • Study Hall Students - Pay Attention!  If you plan on going to the LMC or TLC - Please 1st go to your locker, lunch and lav - Once you arrive in the TLC or LMC you need to stay!  No in and out!
    • Are you ready for Hamburg to go Bald for Bucks!?  Join Hamburg School District by supporting the Bald for Bucks Coin Battle!  The Battle will be from March 20th - March 31st.  The Coin Battle is PAW  vs CLAW!  Once the Battle ends, we will tally all the money to see who raised more, Hamburg or Frontier!  This also will be Class vs Class vs Staff Competition in the School!  Who will win?!? Seniors, Juniors, Sophmores or the Freshman?!  Or will the staff get the win.  The jugs are in the Main Foyer.  Coins are good, and each cent equals one point.  Bills are bad, and each dollar bill deducts 100 points!  Thank you for supporting the High School Student Government and High School Health Science Academy initiative!
    • If you are interested in participating in Bald for Bucks - all information is in the LMC.  T-Shirt order forms are due today!  Permission slips are due March 24th.
    • For Freshmen interested in joining the Health Science Academy - there will be an informational meeting Monday, April 3rd in the LMC at 2:25 pm.  We will discuss the Academy Requirements, give interview tips and answer any further questions.

    • Attention JV and Varsity Spring Season athletes.  There will be a mandatory assembly in the aud with Mr. Cauley on Wednesday, March 29 from 2:30 to 2:50 pm.  All spring season athletes should be in attendance.
    • Attention Foreign Language Club members:  In honor of National Foreign Language Month you are invited to attend the next meeting and learn some American Sign Language!  Please join us on Wednesday, March 29th in Mrs. Mesi's classroom.
    • Attention Freshmen!  Don't miss your opportunity to learn essential business and finance skills needed for success in any career choice!  Be sure to fill out your National Academy of Finance Application and turn it in asap.  AOF Applications can be found outside of the Dog Pound or in the Business Department.

Who We Are

Hamburg High School is a comprehensive High School located in the Village of Hamburg, New York; a suburb south of Buffalo. The school offers an exciting variety of courses and activities to help prepare 1200 students in grades 9 -12 for post secondary education and/or future careers. The instructional program is designed to encourage students to achieve at the highest level possible, with emphasis on Regent and Advanced Placement courses. The Advance Placement program is extensive with offerings of 14 AP courses. A Learning Center, Library Media Center, and Computer labs, are available to all students to assist in the achievement of individual academic goals.
