                             Professional School Nurses’, COTA’s, Computer Aides’ and MRT’s Association, and
                         to discuss the appeals of complaints by an employee and other open 
                             complaints/investigations.

approval to the Hamburg Superintendent Search Focus Group Advisory

            F.5       MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT – (Interim Director of HPER, Interim

                        Director of Technology, and Interim Assistant High School Principal) HAC

                        RECOMMENDED MOTION: “that the Board of Education of the Hamburg

                        Central School District approves the Memorandum of Agreement between

                        the district and Hamburg Administrative Council (HAC) effective

                        December 10, 2013 to June 30, 2014.”  

 

            F.6       RESOLUTION TO INDEMNIFY & PROVIDE LEGAL COUNSEL

                        RECOMMENDED MOTION:  

                        "That the Board of Education hereby resolves to provide legal counsel,

                        defense and indemnification effective November 21, 2013, in accordance

                        with board policy, Education Law and/or under Public Officers Law Article

                        18 to Board Members Sally Stephenson and Holly Balaya in a Notice of

                        Petition seeking removal pursuant to Education Law Section 306 filed with

                        the State Commissioner of Education brought by Daniel J. Chiacchia dated

                        November 20, 2013 and received by the District on November 21, 2013.” 

 

            F.7       PARENT LIAISON – DISTRICT NETWORK TEAMS

                        RECOMMENDED MOTION:  “that the Board of Education hereby

                        appoints Candy Ditkowski as a parent volunteer liaison on the District

                        Network Teams.” 
 

 

G.        PUBLIC EXPRESSION AND INFORMATION

 

PERSONS WISHING TO ADDRESS THE BOARD

Some topics are not permitted to be discussed in the public forum; for example, any
topic related to an employee or that can be implied to be related to an employee;
special education placements, individual student situations, etc. If the topic is
inappropriate for the public forum, the Board president will instruct you not to
speak, but rather, present your concerns in writing for the Board’s discussion in
Executive Session.

 

The chair will recognize the individual or group. Individuals must identify
themselves with name and address. The board will allocate a maximum of
thirty (30) minutes for this agenda item.  Speakers shall have a maximum of five
(5) minutes each.  In the event more than six (6) persons wish to address
the board, they will each receive a proportionate share of the time.
